Jeff Van Solkema - First Solo - July 3, 2011
Jeff should have an easy time remembering his solo as it included the traditional 'cool' wetdown administered by PGC CFIG, Phil Jones. Craig Levine - Commercial - September 19, 2011

Proud new Commercial Glider Pilot Craig Levine and Examiner Randy Rickert, both all smiles for a job well done.

In his day job Craig is a 777 captain so he is used to piloting a slightly heavier aircraft at 766,000 lbs |
In the end, after the flight, Melea and Craig are both smiling so all is well in the Levine flying household. Next it will be Melea's turn or possibly one of their two sons Jacob and Jordan who are also learning to fly at PGC.

Now for the real check ride - Craig prepares to take his first glider passenger wife Melea for a victory lap. Wonder why Melea isn't smiling?

Gary Holmes - Commercial - November 19, 2011
Joe Miller (PGC CFIG left) and Phil Klauder (PGC CFIG right) congratulate Gary for new Commercial Wings ... and Gary gets the official FAA handshake from Randy Rickert (center). Gary's wife (Marcia) was there all day for the event and was Gary's first passenge .... and we had a celebration after Gary's success when all joined in devouring a mountain of pizza kindly provided by the Holmes', pushing the W&B for PCG members ever closer to the max limits
